Feb. 7 Recruiting Event Rescheduled to Mar. 7
Troop 100,
I've decided to reschedule the final recruiting event of the season to Saturday, March 7 (canceling Feb 7). The date change will allow us to space out our events a little better and reach out to more scouts right before they bridge.
The event will be a repeat of the very popular Orienteering workshop we did last year. We will meet at Bldg E at 10:30 am to setup.

January 24th Hike - Mt. Tamalpais
Troop 100,
This month's hike will take place on Saturday, January 24. I propose an 8-mile loop starting at Mt Tamalpais' Pantoll Ranger Station, to Stinson Beach and then back to Pantoll via the Dipsea and Steep Ravine trails.
This is a fantastic hike that has a little bit of everything; grassland, views of the ocean, forest, and even a ladder! The hike is of moderate difficulty (the trail is well-defined, but steep in some sections).
I hope to see as many of you as possible! Bring plenty of water and a sack lunch. We will depart from El Cerrito Del Norte BART at 7:00 am. Meet on the West side of the station (facing San Pablo Ave).
Contact me with questions. A permission slip to follow.

January 17th - Webelos Recruiting Event
Troop 100,
Reminder of our recruiting event next Saturday, January 17. The attached flyer went out to 2nd year Webelos early last month. We will begin the day's events at the Youth Hut (Bldg. E). Please be there at 11:15 am to setup.
RSVP to me by response to this email so I can plan the food accurately and avoid waste. Troop 100 scouts wishing to climb will have to bring $8 and be present for the entire event (don't show up at BI without participating in the Youth Hut activities). We have a limited number of spots available, and the cubs joining us get priority. First come, first served, so RSVP to me asap.
